DESCRIPTION:WEEKEND CELEBRATION AND SALUTE TO THE GREAT BRITISH MOTORCAR AND BRITISH LIFESTYLE\nBritish Invasion XXX\, September 10-12th\, 2021 (“A Jolly Good Time”) The British Invasion is a weekend celebration of all things British. Annually we attract 550-650 British Cars from Canada and the eastern United States. The Town of Stowe welcomes the “Invaders” with a Big Main Street Party on Friday evening with a live band from 6:30-9:30 PM. \nSaturday is the Concours d’Elegance (Judged)\, the British Classic (People’s Choice)\, a Car Corral\, British Vendors\, Ladies Hat Competition with awards presented by our very own “Queen”\, Food and British Invasion Music. Saturday also features the “British Attire Competition\,” which is open to Car Show Registrants & Guests\, and the General Public\, where our roving judges seek out the most original and most interesting British Dressed attendees with awards issued in several categories. \nSunday starts with a 70 minute morning run over Smuggler’s Notch and the back roads for the Car Show Registrants. Meanwhile\, back at the show field\, we feature a driving review of the Saturday Winners\, a Competition of Colors (British Motorcars parked by COLOR)\, and a Tailgate Picnic Competition\, and more. Car Club Display Award. Gates open to the public at 9:00 AM Saturday and Sunday. \nGeneral Admission is $15 for a 2-day Pass or $10 for Sunday only. \n \nWe look forward to celebrating our 30th year with you this September! \n \n

SUMMARY:VTR National Convention 2021 - Oklahoma
DESCRIPTION:Andy Holliday\, 2021 Convention Chairman\, would like to extend his personal invitation to all triumph enthusiasts to join COVTR and Green Country Triumphs in its celebration of the great Rt 66 and its legacy in Oklahoma.  The host hotel will be the Hilton Garden Inn of Edmond just north of the current Route 66 by about 3 miles. \nThe organizers have planned to incorporate as many events as they can so that everyone can explore what Oklahoma has to offer. There will be the usual gimmick rally\, autocross\, funkana\, and concourse but they are also planning on doing a walking tour of the local area and a simple TSD rally that requires no experience or calculators to compete in.  There will be a craft\, photo\, and model contest as usual with awards for all events. \nAll participants will have multiple opportunities to enjoy the local fare with two evenings of dinner runs and at least one breakfast run.  We are hoping for a fun-filled three days in the Oklahoma sun enjoying some top-down driving through the countryside.

SUMMARY:New England British Reliability Run 2021
DESCRIPTION:Begun in 2002 by Blake Discher of Detroit with help from John Macartney and based on similar events in the UK\, the ABRR is a three-day drive for charity in British cars. It is not a race and is run on public roads at posted speeds. It is not a rally as there are no checkpoints or deliberately vague instructions. It is an endurance test of sorts\, intended to be challenging but fun for the participants\, and to see just how reliable these supposedly “unreliable” British cars really are. \nThis year the run is proud to be raising money for Boston Children’s Hospital. \nBoston Children’s Hospital is a 404-bed comprehensive center for pediatric health care. As one of the largest pediatric medical centers in the United States\, Boston Children’s offers a complete range of health care services for children from birth through 21 years of age.

SUMMARY:Connecticut British Reliability Run 2021
DESCRIPTION:The CTBRR is back! The run will be held on September 17th through 19. The Connecticut British Reliability Run for 2021 will be back to the original formula of a 3 day run touring around a central location. The run will start in Farmington\, Connecticut\, and tour north to Glens Falls\, NY on Friday. Saturday we will head east thru Vermont and circle back to Glens Falls. Sunday we will take the scenic route back to northwestern Connecticut. Details can be found on the “The Run” tab. \nThis year there will be an option to join for a one-day tour on Friday. The one-day tour will follow along with the rest of the tour to the lunch break and head back home in the afternoon. The one-day run provides an introduction to the Reliability Format without the three-day commitment. And it provides the same opportunity for cruising with other British Car owners on the scenic back roads of New York and New England.

(2021) \nThe Colorado English Motoring Conclave is THE premier all British meet west of the Missippi! Since 1984 the Colorado British Car and Motorcycle clubs have joined up to present this fun weekend for British motoring fans. Each year we celebrate the gathering of over 500 English vehicles (cars\, motorcycles\, and 4WDs) and we are the largest celebration of the British Motoring Hobby in the Rocky Mountain region of the United States. \nHistory of the Colorado English Motoring Conclave\nThe Colorado English Motoring Conclave was first coordinated in 1983 as a joint effort of the many English car and motorcycle clubs in the Denver metro area. The Austin-Healey\, Jaguar\, Lotus\, MG Car Club\, MG T Register\, Morris Minor\, Rolls Royce\, Sunbeam\, Triumph\, TVR\, Rocky Mountain Vintage Racing\, and British Motorcycle Association clubs all take part in the planning and promotion of this annual event. \nPurpose of the Colorado English Motoring Conclave\nThe purpose of the Colorado English Motoring Conclave is to further the operation\, preservation\, and owner participation of the great British marques. The condition of your bike or car is not important! This is an event for ALL British vehicles\, from beaters to everyday drivers to concours examples. All that counts is that you are a British vehicle nut like the rest of us! Just look at it as a giant group therapy session. \nCome and join us! See a wide assortment of British marques\, learn of sources for specialized services\, enjoy food\, fun\, and entertainment in the park\, visit local vendors and take advantage of some super deals. Bring the kids and share with them the fun of classic vehicles. \nLast year we were unable to put on the full event due to the pandemic. We did offer a fun drive on the day the Conclave was to be held\, ending at the Garden of the Gods park in Colorado Springs. I am pleased to say that we had a very impressive turnout for the drive and have received excellent feedback from the participants. SUMMARY:2021 American British Reliability Run - PA Edition
DESCRIPTION:The ABRR is based on UK Reliability Runs that benefit children’s charities in England. Begun in 2002 by Blake Discher of Detroit with help from John Macartney (In the Shadow of My Father\, Turn Left at the Pacific)\, America’s British Reliability Run is a challenging\, but fun\, driving event that so far has raised more than $300\,000 for worthy children’s charities. Carried on by the Delaware Valley Triumph Club of PA since 2008\, the ABRR spirit is now spreading throughout the USA with multiple regional runs. \nThe ABRR is not a race. The run is conducted on public roads at posted speeds. It is not a road rally either\, as there are no checkpoints or deliberately vague and misleading instructions. The ABRR Teams travel in groups\, taking care to keep the cars together\, making group stops as necessary. The ABRR is a great fall drive on rural paved roads through beautiful countryside in the company of fellow British car friends. All done for a good cause as the only competition is how much each ABRR Team raises for the kids! \nNOTE: The date listed is for the Pennsylvania edition of the run. Due to the continued uncertainty regarding the pandemic status in September\, we will again be doing a one-day local run. We’re planning the show for this year right now.
