SUMMARY:Concours of Elegance\, Hampton Court\, England
DESCRIPTION:The Concours of Elegance will return from 1-3 September with an event that welcomes more exclusive features\, a broader selection of the world’s most amazing cars and more action than ever. \nThe 2017 event will also see a greater selection of more modern ultra-exclusive supercars\, as part of a collection curated by motoring expert and founder of the Harry’s Garage YouTube channel and evo magazine\, Harry Metcalfe. \n \nAt the other end of the automotive spectrum\, the Concours of Elegance will also be working with the Royal Automobile Club to create a collection of pre-1905 ‘veteran’ cars. Arriving at Hampton Court Palace over the weekend\, visitors will be treated to all the sights and sounds of the very first motoring pioneers. \nAs ever\, the main focus of the Concours of Elegance will be the world-class collection of historic vehicles picked by the Steering Committee to compete in the event’s main concours d’elegance. Spanning from the late 19thCentury to the present day\, these unique or extremely rare cars will travel to Hampton Court Palace from all corners of the globe. Details of some of these star cars will be announced over the coming months. \nA brand new addition to the Concours of Elegance this year is a revamped Talking Concours stage\, featuring a number of parades throughout the weekend. Collections of vehicles will start their engines and drive through the grounds and up onto the stage\, allowing visitors to experience more of the sounds and smells of these iconic cars than ever before. \nTickets for the Concours of Elegance will go on sale in March\, when further details of the star cars and features will be announced.

DESCRIPTION:Please join the fun at the 2017 Vintage Triumph Register National Convention which takes place at Forrestal Village\, Princeton\, NJ. \nThe convention will be co-hosted by the Delaware Valley Triumph club and the New Jersey Triumph Association. This will be the 2nd time the DVT has acted as host for this National event. \nThe planning committee is working on many great back-road drives that are abundant in the area. Princeton itself is a short back-road drive to that historic town\, with its many restaurants\, pubs\, shops\, antique shops\, and off course\, the esteemed Princeton University. \nWhile the Concours and Participant’s Choice Car Show are a major part of the convention\, DVT and NJTA are “driving” clubs. We encourage all Triumph enthusiasts to bring a car-regardless of its condition. \nThe hotel is near major roads and interstates\, and very easy to get to. In the event you have to fly in\, Philadelphia Airport (PHL) and Newark Airport (EWR) are only about an hour away\, as well as the local Trenton Airport. \nThe Convention headquarters will be at the Westin Princeton at Forrestal Village. Located off major roads\, but easily accessed by back roads\, the hotel has all you would expect in major chain hotel; 300 rooms\, pool\, restaurant\, tennis courts\, etc. In addition\, current plans are for the Autocross\, Funkana\, LeMan’s Start\, Concours\, and Participant’s Choice Car Show to maybe be literally within walking-distance of the hotel\, using the hotel grounds. Tech sessions and other meetings will be at the hotel. Recognized as one of the premier concours in the country\, Greenwich is unique in that it is two concours back to back. Saturday is the Concours Americana for American cars and motorcycles\, while Sunday is the Concours International for imported marques. \nSaturday will feature a circle of contemporary supercars\, both American and foreign. Saturday’s ticket allows you to preview all of the cars in the Bonhams auction tent. We will also have our first ever Hot Rod Class and a sure-to-please display of children’s cars. Be sure to join us Saturday night for the duPont REGISTRY Live party at the Delamar Hotel\, with a sumptuous buffet and luxurious yachts. On Sunday\, we welcome the American Bugatti Club\, with Bugatti being our featured marque. The Bonhams auction begins at noon and requires a separate admission – or you can watch through the open side of the tent. \nOn both days there will be displays of new cars including BMW\, Lincoln\, Cadillac\, Porsche\, Lotus\, Tesla\, Mercedes-Benz\, Volvo\, Jaguar\, Land Rover\, Alfa Romeo and Miller Motorcars – with Ferrari\, Pagani\, Aston Martin\, McLaren\, Bentley and Maserati.
