If you want to bring a picture of you and your car\, she may be able to incorporate the car. Prices start at $20\, and if you would please\, cash only! \nCollege of Charleston Quidditch Team – will entertain us with a demo in the afternoon. Those familiar with Harry Potter know what Quidditch is. Those unfamiliar will be briefed so that you can enjoy it as well. \nDiamond Springs Water – will be on hand to offer their fresh brewed coffee (free of charge) for us to enjoy with our pastries BCD morning. \nShuttle to Towne Centre – Dennis and Tina have kindly offered the use of their SUV to shuttle a few of our out of town guests to Towne Centre for an hour or so of shopping. Your lovely driver will be Tina Lacey\, and this will be offered on a first-come-first-served basis. More details at the show. \nWe will have a silent auction at the Welcome Reception including some great picnic baskets all set up and ready to enter into the Picnic Competition on Saturday. You can set out a spread in your trunk\, on a pretty blanket or tablecloth on the ground or a table if you can fit it in your trunk. You can be formal or just have some fun with it. Get in the spirit (a Halloween Picnic Basket perhaps? Hmmmmm?) \nYou will also notice a few new items on the field which we hope you will enjoy.

DESCRIPTION:This year we chose a new location\, Kingsport/Blountville\, Tennessee as the base for our 3 day driving adventure. It’s located near some amazing mountains and rivers setting the scene for some breathtaking drives through Tennessee\, Virginia\, Kentucky\, and North Carolina. As with all of our CMU events\, we like to drive\, and that’s what we’ll be doing. We will have drives each of the three days with plenty of stops and things to see. Add in the nighttime activities\, and you have the most amazing classic Mini event in North America! But wait\, there’s more! This event will have a Hawaiian theme entitled Kalaiwa Wikiwiki Mauka\, meaning\, driving quickly towards the mountains. While we won’t have the Hawaiian beaches\, we will have mountains\, water\, and a lot of tacky tourist in full Hawaiian dress. If you were at the Hippie Mini 56 you will have an idea how much FUN this will be! \n \nNote\, we will be driving through the mountains during the peak (hopefully) of the Fall leaves changing colors. We won’t see big Hawaiian waves (many waves from locals though)\, but we will see something you can’t see in Hawaii\, amazing colors everywhere.

DESCRIPTION:Classic Automotive Events of Virginia\, Inc. and the Central Virginia British Car Club (CVBCC) are pleased to announce its 32nd annual Classics on the Green – Sports and Classic Car Show and Wine Festival.  The show and wine festival will occur on Sunday\, September 18\, 2016\, at the New Kent Winery\, 8400 Old Church Road – just off Route I-64\, Exit 211 – in New Kent\, Virginia.  The event opens to the public at 11:00 AM and will continue until 4:00 PM (rain or shine). \nAdditionally\, a number of activities are scheduled on Saturday\, September 17\, 2016\, at the Wyndham Virginia Crossings Hotel and Conference Center\, our host hotel.  The Nash Car Club of America is concluding their annual Grand NASHional event with a car show on the hotel grounds on Saturday morning.  It will feature Nash and Rambler automobiles dating back to 1902.  Also on Saturday morning\, the Virginia Jaguar Club will hold their well respected Concours Event.  In the afternoon\, CVBCC will host their annual “Classics on the Road” tour through central Virginia.  The tour will depart from the hotel at 1:00 PM.  Lastly\, the Saturday evening party will be held in the main ballroom of the hotel.  It will feature an excellent meal and live music by the enormously popular Richmond-based band\, the Kings of Swing. \nLast year’s car show was a huge success with approximately 250 automobiles and motorcycles on the show field and many vendors offering unique food\, goods\, services\, fine arts and crafts.  This year promises to be even more spectacular\, with our fifth year on the new show field\, several new vendors along with our vendors from past years\, and many other activities for the family’s enjoyment.  The New Kent Winery will feature a variety of exquisite Virginia wines from its own winery.  Other Virginia wineries will be in attendance also. \nThis year’s featured marque celebrates “Trend Setting Designs in Automotive History.” \nPlease join us with your family and friends for the 32nd Annual Classics on the Green.  Advance purchase admission to the car show and wine festival is $25.00 (advance purchase will be available through the COTG website).  Admission for the car show only is $10.00 for adults (children 12 and under are free).  A portion of the proceeds from the car show are donated to charity.  Our charity again this year is the Richmond Fisher House at the McGuire Veterans Medical Center.

DESCRIPTION:Last years CTR British Motorcar Gathering and Picnic was held at Wickham Park on Sunday September 13th. Not a drop of rain fell there but unfortunately it rained in other parts of the state\, leading to only 30 cars coming to the event. Those in attendance\, however\, enjoyed themselves as nearly everyone went home with a raffle prize\, a show award\, and in some cases both! And many took advantage of the food provided by Boy Scout Troop 28 of Hebron. They featured a delicious Triumph Burger complete with sausage\, peppers\, and mushrooms.

It’s the British version of a yard sale\, with everyone selling stuff from the back of their car or truck. Your vehicle does not have to be British born! If it has a “boot” (that’s what we Brits call the trunk of a car) it qualifies. The attendance at last year’s Car Fayre was close to 15\,000 people\, so pack your car or truck with anything you think might sell. It’s only $15 per vehicle to participate and you must pre-register. While you shouldn’t expect to get rich\, you’ll have a lot of fun turning your used stuff into someone else’s new treasure. Last year’s sellers all reported worthwhile results. DESCRIPTION:Saluting Land Rover – Labor Day Weekend 2016 \nBring Your British cars and motorcycles. Join over 800 other British vehicle owners and share your interests with other enthusiasts. Replica cars made in England with British components (e.g. Panther) and specialty cars with British chassis and running gear (e.g. Arkley) are welcome\, as are British bodied cars with American engines\, including conversions. \nThe weekend kicks off with the Friday Welcome Party\, followed by the Saturday car show\, which includes a BBQ\, a slalom competition\, People’s Choice balloting\, a Funkhana\, a huge photo concours\, a Best in Show designation and a Land Rover Adventure Ride sponsored  by the Pacific Coast Rover Club. Sunday’s activities include a Rallye\, a swap meet and an off-road excursion for registered Land Rovers. \nPeople’s Choice ballots are cast for more than 80 classes of British cars\, which are owned and driven by club members from more than 30 British car clubs across the U.S. and Canada–a truly international event! Attendees can leave with not only good memories but mementos and memorabilia as well\, after a stop in the Regalia Tent. \nWe anticipate a good showing with Aston Martins plus a dozen Rolls-Royce and Bentley Automobiles. This year the event salutes Land Rover. All ‘Brit’ cars are welcome to join the fun.  Sunday morning we will take over the streets of Portland for a time/speed/distance rally\, which is open to all registered vehicles. With over 800 registered cars every year we are the largest ABFM in the United States. \nThe organizing Clubs welcome the public to take in this rare assembly of the West Coast’s finest British Steel.  The Portland All British Field Meet is promoting this event and expects a large crowd of spectators and media coverage.

DESCRIPTION:The BSMGAC (Bay State MGA Club) is once again sponsoring MG Car Day at Larz Anderson Auto Museum\, 15 Newton St\, Brookline MA from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm\, rain or shine. The event is on Saturday\, August 20th. There will be a food vendor for morning snacks as well as lunch items. There are 10 classes: MG Pre-war\, MG T Post-war\, MGA 1500\, MGA 1600\, MGB 1963-1967\, MGB 1968-1974\, MGB 1975-1980\, MG Midget\, MG Other\, and MG Custom/Modified.Spread the word to all your MG friends to bring their cars out to this annual event.
