DESCRIPTION:First held in 1982\, our British Car Festival is among the oldest of its kind and one of the few multi-day British car events on the East coast. Over 150 entrants from more than 10 states participate each year. \nWe welcome all British marques and makes in all conditions. A show-quality car is not needed to share in the fun of this great event. Awards are based on voting by participants! \nThe car show is staged over several acres among the massive trees and lovely river views of Ridgeview Park in Waynesboro. The Skyline Drive\, Shenandoah National Park\, and Blue Ridge Parkway are a 10-minute drive from the show. \nOur Friday night reception has proved to be very popular\, so please add it to your schedules. We will have a special room available where you can purchase drinks\, bar food/snacks\, or a full meal. With videos in the background\, this is an opportunity to get together with old friends or meet new ones. DESCRIPTION:What was once just a gathering of a few local members for a picnic is now one of the premier annual events for all British car owners in the Mid-Atlantic Region. Each year we have over 200 cars with MGs of all Models and 8 classes of other British Marques. Popular vote balloting by the car owners is from 10:00 until 1:00 p.m. and awards are given out soon after 3:00 p.m. \nWinners\, chosen by car owner peers\, receive awards at their cars as the crowd walks around the show field at the end. If you please check our website for the picture! \nDirections: From I-95 North of Baltimore take exit 77B\, follow Rte. 24 West 13 miles\, briefly merging with and then leaving US 1\, then later crossing MD 23. After 13 miles\, turn right across the one lane bridge at Cherry Hill. Pull into the 4H Camp and MGs on the Rocks is on your left. Look for MG Octagon signs en route. You can set your Navigation system to 2 Cherry Hill Road\, Street\, MD 21154 \nIf you love British cars this is the place to be the last Saturday in September. The Rocks State Park 4H Camp is an excellent country setting in rural Harford County\, MD. Bring a picnic basket or purchase your lunch at the show and join the MGs of Baltimore for what has always been a superb show. The show brings out a wonderful selection of the finest classic and more modern examples of the British Automobile (car) and Motorcycle industry. SUMMARY:31st Annual Chicagoland British Car Festival
DESCRIPTION:One of the largest and most entertaining British car events in the U.S.\n\nIt’s expected that more than 500 classic British cars will be on display and over 2\,000 people will attend the 2017 edition of the Chicagoland British Car Festival. The festival features\, authentic British food\, entertainment\, technical learning sessions\, car merchandise giveaways\, classic car parts vendors\, and examples of the latest automobile imports from Great Britain. Following last year’s fun and spectator enthusiasm\, valve cover racing – a quirky gravity-propelled competition – returns to the festival for 2017.\n\nAdmission for the general public is free\, with donations encouraged for Shelter\, Inc.\, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing community-based\, emergency and longer-term housing for abused and neglected children. www.shelter-inc.org. Last year\, Shelter\, Inc. raised more than $1\,300 at the festival.\n\nFor those displaying cars\, the early registration fee is $20.00 before August 22\, 2017\, and $25.00 after the deadline and at the festival.
