DESCRIPTION:You are cordially invited to join The British Car Club of Charleston\, South Carolina for the 39th Annual British Car Day on October 19th\, 2024. The Spotlight Marque is the Sunbeam with a special celebration of the 60th anniversary of the Tiger. \nThe Show \nBritish Car Day is open to the public. Stop by and bring the family. The only cost is $2pp to enter the park. Enjoy the day seeing the variety of beautiful British cars\, talk with the owners and relax under one of the shelters\, and enjoy a lunch from one of the food trucks. \nBritish Car Day will be at the same venue that we have used for the past few years\, Palmetto Islands County Park.  We have use of the three shelters\, Tall Pine\, Sweet Gum and Big Oak\, as well as the restrooms. Click here to see pictures from the 2023 British Car Day. \nFriday Evening Events \nThe Friday evening Welcome Reception will be at Hyatt Place in Towne Center in Mt Pleasant. Meet other participants and enjoy hors d’oeuvres. It will be at 5 to 9pm.  We are also planning a daytime drive to Hopsewee Plantation. We will leave Hyatt Place at 10am and drive there through scenic Francis Marion National Forest. We will take a tour of the facility and have a light lunch. If you would like you can sign up for one of the many other tours and presentations as there is plenty of time before the Welcome Reception at 5pm. \nHotel \nWe have a block of rooms at Hyatt Place for you at the discounted price of $234 per night. The half-hour drive will go through Live Oak tree-lined streets. There are many shops you can visit or relax with a morning coffee. \nAuthentic British Tea\nAt noon\, we will be offering a two-hour Authentic British Tea. This will be our third time offering the tea\, which all have loved. Sign up early as there is a limit of 40 people. Our goal is to provide as much info available on the area to make your visit the best possible. \nMOTD started out as arth get together to drive 11-mile stretch of road with 318 curves aka the Tail of the Dragon. That in itself is more than enough reason to travel to the breath taking mountains of North Carolina. But in the first weekend of May each year\, it has evolved into much more than that. Just like our beloved MINI’s have evolved into more than just a car to us. So you take the 11-mile stretch of road\, then you toss in the mountains\, country roads and waterfalls. Now add 600 to 1000 fellow MINIacs and it takes on a whole new meaning. Wake up each morning and see hundreds of Mini’s each day\, attend dinners and events\, go on group drives\, or just gather and drool over each other’s mods. SUMMARY:All MG Event 2026 - MG Club Register Council - Ohio
DESCRIPTION:The North American Council of MG Registers is comprised of the four major MG Car Registers in North America. The Council sponsors the ALL MG event every five years. \nThe next “ALL-MG” Event will be August 23-27\, 2026 in Sandusky\, Ohio\nThe North American MMM Register was created in 1989 by Jerry Keuper to provide a means of communication among owners of MMM cars in North America. “MMM” refers to Midget\, Magna\, and Magnette: the overhead cam MGs produced between 1929 and 1936. \nThe register has approximately 150 members who own (in total) over 200 cars encompassing more than 20 different models. The register also has records of about 250 MMM cars in North America that are currently not in the active membership. \nThe New England MG ‘T’ Register is an international organization dedicated to the maintenance\, preservation and enjoyment of T-Series and Vintage M.G.s. \nThe Register supports the active use of these cars and encourages the exchange of technical\, historical and social information through this web site and through the pages of its publication\, The Sacred Octagon\, (also known as TSO)\, which also contains photos\, drawings\, spares data\, classified ads and other materials of interest to the membership. \nThe North American MGA Register was established in 1975 with the sole objective of promoting the restoration\, preservation\, and enjoyment of the MGA\, Magnette and their Variants. \nWe gained 125 members in 2023\, and currently have just over 1700 active members. We have 9351 cars in our data base. The Register currently shows 8\,964 MGAs\, 277 Magnettes\, 29 Variants\, and 81 unknown/undeclared models. (Variants are cars built using the MGA engine or chassis\, such as the Elva Courier). In addition\, there are a number of specific interest groups affiliated with NAMGAR – MGA Coupe\, MGA Deluxe\, Z Magnette Group (ZMG)\, Elva Courier\, MGA 1800\, MGA Twin Cam\, and MG Vintage Racers. \nWhile NAMGAR was created to specifically serve the North American MGA enthusiast\, we now boast a world wide membership with over 12 countries represented. NAMGAR is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors comprised of a Chairman\, Vice-Chairman\, Treasurer\, Registrar\, and Advertising & Communications Director. These five people are assisted by many other volunteers in order to bring you our magazine\, website\, and annual events. \nThe North American MGB Register was formed in 1990 to support all MGs built after 1962 as an organization which would be run by MG enthusiasts\, for MG enthusiasts. The North American MGB Register would be dedicated to maintaining and expanding interest in Britain’s most popular sports car .. the MGB. \nThe North American MGB Register membership would be open to all\, and where the ownership of an MGB is not a condition of membership. Activity\, Enthusiasm\, and Dedication are cherished. \n \n
