Look for the club pop-up and a table for registration. \nThis year the bridge under construction over the Willow River (Lake Mallalieu) is likely to block anyone arriving from the North.  It will be far better to cross the St. Croix on the I-94 bridge\, take Exit 1\, turn left at the Dairy Queen and proceed to the site from the South. \nPlease RSVP to the Club too to help in planning our parking!

DESCRIPTION:The Connecticut MG Club’s “BRITISH BY THE SEA” is a fun gathering of people who own and appreciate British Vehicles of all Marques. Although we do present etched glass mug awards to vehicles selected by popular vote\, “BRITISH BY THE SEA” is not a judged show. We want to encourage ALL British car\, truck\, and motorcycle owners and enthusiasts to attend and have an enjoyable time. Whether your vehicle is in pristine condition\, or a daily driver\, sparkling paint and chrome or with “Barn Fresh” patina\, it deserves to be part of the event and on the display field. \nThe Featured Marque for this year’s 33rd annual British By The Sea will be “The Outstanding Engineering of Modified MGs“. \nAs usual\, our Featured Marque will Be prominently displayed in the front row and will have generous room to display the vehicles along with any club tents for memorabilia and hospitality. \nOur BBTS Gathering is always scheduled on the first Sunday in June\, at the scenic 240 acre Harkness Memorial State Park in Waterford\, Connecticut\, on the north shore of Long Island Sound. We want to encourage people to come down and enjoy a day mingling with other LBC owners\, talk about cars\, have a picnic\, a glass of wine\, and also take in all that Harkness Memorial State Park has to offer\, such as the beach\, the Mansion “Eolia”\, and the Gardens. The Connecticut MG Club donates a large percentage of our proceeds from BBTS to the Park to purchase plants for the West Gardens\, helping to restore the “Eolia” Gardens to their original grandeur as designed by Beatrix Farrand in 1919. In addition\, we provide “people power” over a few weekends to plant them. \nWe have selected a variety of quality food vendors to attend in order to satisfy any appetite\, from hot dogs and hamburgers\, lobster rolls\, deli sandwiches\, and wood-fired brick oven pizzas\, to Ice Cream for dessert. You can also bring a picnic to enjoy and share “out of the boot” of your car. \nThe expansive lawn areas offer ample room for the display of vehicles\, vendors\, spectator parking\, and a spacious area for trailer parking.

DESCRIPTION:Bring Your British cars and motorcycles to the longest-running and largest ABFM in America. Join OVER 800 other British vehicle owners and share your interests with other enthusiasts. Replica cars made in England with British components (e.g. Panther) and specialty cars with British chassis and running gear (e.g. Arkley) are welcome\, as are British bodied cars with American engines\, including conversions. \nThe weekend kicks off with the Friday Welcome Party\, followed by the Saturday car show\, Guided walking tours\, Banquet\, Giant Slalom competition\, People’s Choice balloting\, live music performances\, Arts\, Crafts & Photo Contest\, Film Festival\, Scavenger Hunt for the Kiddos\, Best in Show designation and a Land Rover Adventure Ride. Sunday’s activities include a Rallye\, swap meet\, and more fun on the PIR track in the Giant Slalom. \nPeople’s Choice ballots are cast for more than 80 classes of British cars\, which are owned and driven by club members from more than 30 British car clubs across the U.S. and Canada–a truly international event! Attendees can leave with not only good memories but mementos and memorabilia as well\, after a stop in the Regalia Tent. \nWe anticipate a good showing with Aston Martins plus a dozen Rolls-Royce and Bentley Automobiles. This year the event salutes 60 years of the Mini. All ‘Brit’ cars are welcome to join the fun.  Sunday morning we will take over the streets of Portland for a fun rally\, which is open to all registered vehicles. With over 800 registered cars we are the largest ABFM in the United States. \nThe organizing Clubs welcome the public to take in this rare assembly of the West Coast’s finest British Steel.  The Portland All British Field Meet is promoting this event and expects a large crowd of spectators and media coverage.

Annually we attract 550-650 British Cars from Canada and the eastern United States. The Town of Stowe welcomes the “Invaders” with a Big Main Street Party on Friday evening with a live band from 6:30-9:30 PM. \nSaturday is the Concours d’Elegance (Judged)\, the British Classic (People’s Choice)\, a Car Corral\, British Vendors\, Ladies Hat Competition with awards presented by our very own “Queen”\, Food and British Invasion Music. Saturday also features the “British Attire Competition\,” which is open to Car Show Registrants & Guests\, and the General Public\, where our roving judges seek out the most original and most interesting British Dressed attendees with awards issued in several categories. \nSunday starts with a 70 minute morning run over Smuggler’s Notch and the back roads for the Car Show Registrants. Meanwhile\, back at the show field\, we feature a driving review of the Saturday Winners\, a Competition of Colors (British Motorcars parked by COLOR)\, and a Tailgate Picnic Competition\, and more. Car Club Display Award. The event tries to keep the same marques together in one designated area\, so your pre-registration and early arrival help. However\, they can only set aside a specific area\, not an assigned space. The organizers work very hard at this on the show day!\n• Discounted advance online registration cost is $20 per car\, $15 per additional car\, and $15 per motorcycle.\n• Day of event registration cost is $25 per car\, $20 per additional car\, and $20 per motorcycle. \nCAR BOOT SALE\nOur introduction of this event was so successful we’re bringing it back again! It’s the British version of a yard sale\, with everyone selling stuff from the back of their car or truck. Your vehicle doesn’t have to be British-born. If it has a “boot” (that’s what we Brits call the trunk of a car) it qualifies. We assign one regular parking space and you can set up a table at the back of your vehicle if needed. The attendance at past Car Fayres has been more than 15\,000 people\, so pack your car or truck with anything you think might sell. It’s only \n$15 per vehicle to participate and you must pre-register. While you shouldn’t expect to get rich\, you’ll have a lot of fun turning your used stuff into someone else’s new treasure. Previous sellers all reported worthwhile results \nCHARITY\nAll profits generated from each show are donated to our charity\, the Amanda Riley Foundation. The Amanda Riley Foundation uses 100% of all monies received to support children in the Atlanta area who have been hospitalized with cancer and to support the financially strapped families that have to sacrifice to be with their children.

DESCRIPTION:Sunbeams United International  (SUNI) has been a tradition\, usually every five years\, attracting Sunbeam owners from all over North America and beyond. The most recent was held in 2014 in Colorado Springs\, Colorado\, and was a tremendous success\, with attendees coming from as far away as Florida\, Atlanta\, and British Columbia. \nA group of six Sunbeam owner clubs began last year exploring hosting SUNI VII: \, Tigers East/Alpines East\, Sunbeam Tiger Owners Association\, California Association of Tiger Owners\, Colorado Association of Tiger Owners\, the Pacific Tiger Club\, and the Sunbeam Alpine Owners Club of America. \nSpeakers and Attractions \nAuthor/historian John Nikas\, and former Rootes engineer Mike Jones are lined up as guest speakers. As in the past\, overseas attendees from the U.K. and elsewhere are expected at this international gathering. \nAttractions include Truman Library\, National WWI Museum and Memorial\, Steamboat Arabia Museum\, Airline History\, and TWA Constellation Museum\, Union Station\, National Trails Museum\, and\, of course\, K.C. barbecue. \nRally and Autocross \nThe Kansas City Metropolitan Community College runs an expansive vehicle dynamics\, police and fire training facility\, available for autocross\, and provides cones\, covered picnic tables\, and porta-johns. Plenty of country roads and byways around local lakes and along the Missouri River. \n \nPlease note: \nPlanning for this event is completely based on the assumption that by September of 2021\, folks will have been vaccinated and/or that it will be safe for seniors to travel by car to Independence\, perhaps with some minor restrictions. \nIf it is not safe by then it will either be rescheduled or canceled.

DESCRIPTION:Andy Holliday\, 2021 Convention Chairman\, would like to extend his personal invitation to all triumph enthusiasts to join COVTR and Green Country Triumphs in its celebration of the great Rt 66 and its legacy in Oklahoma.  The host hotel will be the Hilton Garden Inn of Edmond just north of the current Route 66 by about 3 miles. \nThe organizers have planned to incorporate as many events as they can so that everyone can explore what Oklahoma has to offer. There will be the usual gimmick rally\, autocross\, funkana\, and concourse but they are also planning on doing a walking tour of the local area and a simple TSD rally that requires no experience or calculators to compete in.  There will be a craft\, photo\, and model contest as usual with awards for all events. \nAll participants will have multiple opportunities to enjoy the local fare with two evenings of dinner runs and at least one breakfast run.  We are hoping for a fun-filled three days in the Oklahoma sun enjoying some top-down driving through the countryside.

Each year we celebrate the gathering of over 500 English vehicles (cars\, motorcycles\, and 4WDs) and we are the largest celebration of the British Motoring Hobby in the Rocky Mountain region of the United States. \nHistory of the Colorado English Motoring Conclave\nThe Colorado English Motoring Conclave was first coordinated in 1983 as a joint effort of the many English car and motorcycle clubs in the Denver metro area. The Austin-Healey\, Jaguar\, Lotus\, MG Car Club\, MG T Register\, Morris Minor\, Rolls Royce\, Sunbeam\, Triumph\, TVR\, Rocky Mountain Vintage Racing\, and British Motorcycle Association clubs all take part in the planning and promotion of this annual event. \nPurpose of the Colorado English Motoring Conclave\nThe purpose of the Colorado English Motoring Conclave is to further the operation\, preservation\, and owner participation of the great British marques. The condition of your bike or car is not important! This is an event for ALL British vehicles\, from beaters to everyday drivers to concours examples. All that counts is that you are a British vehicle nut like the rest of us! Just look at it as a giant group therapy session. \nCome and join us! See a wide assortment of British marques\, learn of sources for specialized services\, enjoy food\, fun\, and entertainment in the park\, visit local vendors and take advantage of some super deals. Bring the kids and share with them the fun of classic vehicles. \nLast year we were unable to put on the full event due to the pandemic. We did offer a fun drive on the day the Conclave was to be held\, ending at the Garden of the Gods park in Colorado Springs. I am pleased to say that we had a very impressive turnout for the drive and have received excellent feedback from the participants. DESCRIPTION:A British Motor Vehicle Tradition – Participants’ Choice Awards\nAll entries will receive a dash plaque\, goody bag\, and a ballot for voting in the Participants’ Choice Awards. This is a show for the pleasure and company of others who share your interest in vintage British machinery. Judging is by popular vote of your peers\, each of whom has a vehicle entered in the show. Each entrant receives one ballot and may cast one vote per class. There have been over 35 classes at past shows and classes will again be determined by preregistered vehicles. Three or more of the same vehicle type make a competition class\, not including the Winners’ Circle entrants. Based on early registration results\, classes are created for each major marque and certain subdivisions within marques. Where there are not sufficient early entries to justify a separate class\, entries will be grouped by type of vehicle. \nVendors and participants set up at 7:00 AM. Gates open to the public at 8:00 AM. Final registration: 10:00 AM. Voting closes at 12:00 PM. Awards Presentation: 1:30 PM. This is not a “concours” but a chance for British vehicle lovers to get together\, display their vehicles\, and have a good time. Any vehicle could go home with a trophy. So bring your British “ride” and enjoy the camaraderie! \nDue to attendance limitations\, there will NO be day-of Registration.\nCurrent Covid-19 restrictions prevented us from holding the Dixon Car Show in May of this year\, but we are happy to announce that we have secured the date of Sunday\, September 19\, 2021 at the Dixon Fairgrounds in Dixon\, CA! \nWe hope to return to our May date in 2022.

DESCRIPTION:The Capital Triumph Register is proud to announce that the 23rd annual Britain on the Green (BOG) will be held at historic Gunston Hall\, the colonial home of George Mason\, in Lorton\, VA\, on Sunday\, September 19\, 2021.  BOG\, which welcomes all British cars and motorcycles. is well-established as one of the premier all-British shows in the metropolitan DC area.  While Britain on the Green is traditionally held in April\, the show has been moved to September this year because of ongoing COVID-19 pandemic limitations. \nMark your calendars now and plan to attend as we expect this year to be the best ever!  In addition to hundreds of beautiful British vehicles on display\, we’ll have live music\, a Food Truck Alley\, a sponsor/vendor Midway for your automotive needs\, activities for children\, and tours of the Gunston Hall mansion and gardens for participants and spectators. \nFor 2021 we will feature a special display of classic British cars and their modern counterparts.  For example\, a classic Jaguar E-Type from the 1960s will be paired with a current Jaguar F-Type sports car.  Other marques in the display of pairing of classic and modern examples will include Land Rover\, Mini\, Morgan\, and Lotus. \nParticipant’s Choice honors will be awarded in 25 or more classes of British cars and motorcycles.  There will also be a number of special awards including Best Resto-Mod\, Best Survivor\, Best Display\, and\, of course\, Best of Show.  In addition\, we will have Hagerty Youth Judging in which the next generation of British car drivers picks their favorites. \nSo please plan on joining us on September 19th for the 23rd annual Britain on the Green.   It is a great day to bring out your car and celebrate the British car show and driving season with friends\, family\, and fellow enthusiasts. \nCars registered by September 1 will receive the collectible 23rd-anniversary show poster by famed artist Joseph Craig English.  All for $25\, a savings of $10 from day-of registration. \nEarly registration for Britain on the Green 2021 is open.  BOG will be held on Sunday\, September 19\, 2021\, this year rather than our regular April date.

DESCRIPTION:The cars and motorcycles of the Roarin’ Twenties will be featured at the 2021 Dayton Concours. The Dayton Concours d’Elegance at Carillon Park presented by AAA is the Midwest’s premier classic & antique automobile and motorcycle show. The invitational event brings some of the finest historical cars and motorcycles together inside the grounds of the 65-acre historical park. \nThe vehicles are either restored to original or preserved in original condition. Cars from the early 1900’s are displayed alongside the classics of the ‘50’s and ‘60’s\, as well as a variety of two-wheeled machines. Entries are judged and compete in a number of classes and also for special awards. \nThe Dayton Concours d’Elegance at Carillon Park presented by AAA is the Midwest’s premier classic & antique automobile and motorcycle show. The invitational event brings 200 of the finest historical cars and motorcycles together inside the grounds of the 65-acre historical park.

SUMMARY:Put-in-Bay Sports Car Races - Ohio
DESCRIPTION:Following the cancelation of the 2020 event due to the Covid-19 Pandemic\, a large percentage of entrants carried over their registration to 2021. Since then excitement has continued to mount for this fun-filled and relaxed event. \nBeginning with a small “reunion” in 2009\, today’s racing- and non-racing entrants at Put-in-Bay enjoy several days of sports-car enjoyment in a relaxed and nostalgic setting where small-bore sports cars raced through the streets of this island enclave from ‘52 to ‘59 and once more in 1963. \nFor this year’s event (September 21-24 with racing at the Put-in-Bay airport on September 22 and 23) race organizers have built on the enthusiasm for 2019’s “TinTop” celebration to invite drivers of vintage Volvos\, VWs\, and Saabs to come share the fun as official featured marques. Also\, the more-or-less annual Turner Reunion returns their event to “The Bay” as part of the featured marque group. And finally\, over the past year\, it seems the H-Modified crowd has caught wind of the goings-on at Put-in-Bay\, so a contingent of Crosley/similarly-powered specials including several Berkeleys are expected to be on hand for the 2021 event. All entrants with featured marque status are eligible for discounted entry fees and special races. And\, as always\, there will be the usual array of entrants racing in multiple classes in four groups plus an exhibition. \nIn addition to the on-track race entries\, there are also non-racing participant categories for Heritage Street Cars (qualified pre-’64 cars) and Guest Street Cars (generally post-’63 to ’72). \nThe event is also the third leg of the 2019 “Great Lakes Vintage Challenge” whereby entrants in several production classes and in Formula Vee accumulate race-finishing points at the Waterford Hills Vintage Races\, VSCDA’s Au Grattan event\, and at Put-in-Bay. \nIn addition to two full days of racing\, the Put-in-Bay Sports Car Races event includes tours of the original island course\, several social events\, a car show\, rocker cover races\, guest stories\, and more. \nSpectating at the races and many of the other activities is open and free to the public.
