SUMMARY:26th Annual British Motorcar Gathering - Pennsylvania
DESCRIPTION:More than 200 vintage British sports cars will be on display when the British Motorcar Gathering is staged at Hellertown Reservoir Park\, just south of Bethlehem\, in eastern Pennsylvania’s Lehigh Valley. \nThe annual show features finely restored MGs\, Triumphs\, Jaguars\, Austin-Healeys\, Morgans\, and Minis from every mid-Atlantic state. Classic British sports cars and sedans dating from the 1930s to present day will be displayed in a wooded setting\, with separate areas for each make of car. \nThose registered will choose the top three examples of each class and model of car\, with more than 50 awards to be made. There will also be a “Best of Show” award for the favorite car of the day\, and a “Diamond in the Rough” award\, given to a car which is still on its way to complete restoration. \nAll makes of British cars and motorcycles\, old and new\, are welcome. Show classes will be determined by the number of cars of each marque and model which pre-registered by May 31. At least three cars of a type must be pre-registered in order to be considered for a separate class. \nThe field opens at 9 a.m.\, with judging until 12:30 p.m. Catered food and drinks are available in a large picnic pavilion\, or bring your own picnic\, with music provided all day. \nThe British Motorcar Gathering will be held RAIN OR SHINE\, with no rain date. \nSponsored by the Keystone Region MG Club. We want to encourage ALL British car\, truck\, and motorcycle owners and enthusiasts to attend and have an enjoyable time. Whether your vehicle is in pristine condition\, or a daily driver\, sparkling paint and chrome or with “Barn Fresh” patina\, it deserves to be part of the event and on the display field. \nThe Featured Marque for this year’s 32ND annual British By The Sea will be celebrating the 60th Anniversary of the CLASSIC MINI produced from 1959-2000. As usual\, our Featured Marque will be prominently displayed in the front row and will have generous room to display the vehicles along with any club tents for memorabilia and hospitality. \nOur BBTS Gathering is always scheduled on the first Sunday in June\, at the scenic 240 acre Harkness Memorial State Park in Waterford Ct.\, on the north shore of Long Island Sound. We want to encourage people to come down and enjoy a day mingling with other LBC owners\, talk about cars\, have a picnic\, a glass of wine\, and also take in all that Harkness Memorial State Park has to offer\, such as the beach\, the Mansion “Eolia”\, and the Gardens. The CT MG Club donates a large amount of our proceeds from BBTS to the Park to purchase plants for the West Gardens\, helping to restore the “Eolia” Gardens to their original grandeur as designed by Beatrix Farrand in 1919. In addition\, we provide “people power” over a few weekends to plant them. \n \nWe have selected a variety of quality food vendors to attend in order to satisfy any appetite\, from hot dogs and hamburgers\, lobster rolls\, deli sandwiches\, and wood-fired brick oven pizzas\, to Ice Cream for dessert. You can also bring a picnic to enjoy and share “out of the boot” of your car. \nThe expansive lawn areas offer ample room for the display vehicles\, vendors\, spectator parking and a spacious area for trailer parking.

DESCRIPTION:The North Alabama British Motoring Society\, NABMS\, is hosting the 16th Annual EuroBrit Auto & Bike Expo at Madison Dublin Park\, June 1\, 2019 from 9:00 to 3:00. Sponsorship from Century Jaguar-Land Rover\, Landers McLardy Fiat-Alfa Romeo\, Martin’s Classic Cars and City of Madison. The show is free to spectators. There will be all makes of European cars displayed\, new\, restored\, and works in progress.  One hundred or more cars and bikes will be coming from neighboring cities and states to compete for awards and door prizes. The show proceeds will benefit the local chapter of Autism Resource Foundation a 501 (c)(3) non-profit.  Come for a family-friendly event\, food trucks on site\, and talk with the car owners about their experiences owning a foreign car. \nEuroBrit Show Flyer

SUMMARY:Cars of England Car Show and Jaguar Concours d’Elegance - Pennsylvania
DESCRIPTION:Cars and Motorcycles of England returns again to the historic Hope Lodge in 2019\, featuring an all-British marque judged motorcar and motorcycle Concours\, and a nationally sanctioned Jaguar Concours d’Elegance. The combined show fields represent one of the largest British motoring shows on the East Coast with over 250 cars and motorcycles participating in each of the last four years. \nThe show field opens at 8:30 AM and Judging begins at 10:00 AM. Prizes will be awarded beginning at 2:30 PM. \nDelaware Valley Triumphs sponsors the All-British show. In 2018 the show field included the following marques: Aston Martin\, Austin\, Austin Healey\, Bentley\, Daimler\, Innocenti\, Jaguar\, Lancaster\, Lotus\, MG\, Mini\, Morgan\, Peerless\, Rolls Royce\, Rover\, Sunbeam\, and\, of course\, Triumph. Motorcycles included BSA\, Norton\, and Triumph. In 2019 there will be 40 award classes for automobiles and four for motorcycles. \nSpecial awards will also be given for “Diamond in the Rough”\, the “Best of Show – Participants’ Choice” and the “Best of Show – Judge’s Choice”. Registration is $20 per vehicle through May 25\, 2019\, and $25 from May 26 onward. DESCRIPTION:Registered entrants “Start Your Engines” by joining us Friday evening\, May 31\, 2019\, for a welcome reception sponsored by the Illinois Flat Land British Car Club (IFLBCC). \nThe fun continues Saturday with a self-guided “rally-style” tour of local car collections\, followed by a delicious sit-down banquet at the highly rated Biaggi’s Italian Restaurant. This year’s Honorary Chairman and Guest Speaker at Saturday’s dinner is Burt Levy.  Burt authored The Last Open Road\, a story that transports the reader to the summer of 1952 and incredible characters that lead us on one hilarious adventure after another.  Burt will also join us for Sunday’s show. \nA “Dawn Patrol” breakfast drive is planned for early risers on Sunday\, June 2. Travel scenic back roads and meet with other cool British car owners before Sunday’s show. Beautiful Clover Lawn at David Davis Mansion in Bloomington\, IL is the site of the 28th Annual Champagne British Car Show\, Sunday\, June 2\, 2019. The entire grounds will be festooned with colorful Union Jacks and manufacturer’s flags\, including such venerable British marques as MG\, Triumph\, Jaguar and Austin Healey.  Lotus cars are the featured marque for 2019. \nThe Sunday Car Show is free to spectators\, but donations to benefit the David Davis Mansion Foundation are encouraged.
