DESCRIPTION:Bring Your British cars and motorcycles. Join OVER 800 other British vehicle owners and share your interests with other enthusiasts. Replica cars made in England with British components (e.g. Panther) and specialty cars with British chassis and running gear (e.g. Arkley) are welcome\, as are British bodied cars with American engines\, including conversions. \nThe weekend kicks off with the Friday Night Welcome Party\, followed by the Saturday Car Show\, Guided Walking Tours\, Giant Slalom competition\, People’s Choice balloting\, LIVE Musical Performances\, Arts Display Contest\, Scavenger Hunt for the Kiddos\, Best in Show designation and Land Rover Adventure Rides. Saturday’s Events Culminate with an Awards Presentation and Banquet with a TBD Guest Speaker. Sunday’s activities include a HUGE swap meet\, Rallye to Tour Portland Area Landmarks and more VIntage Racing and Britsh Cars competing in the Giant Slalom. \nPeople’s Choice ballots are cast for more than 80 classes of British cars\, which are owned and driven by club members from more than 30 British car clubs across the U.S. and Canada–a truly international event! Attendees can leave with not only good memories but mementos and memorabilia as well\, after a stop in the Regalia Tent. \nWe anticipate a good showing of Rolls-Royce and Bentley Automobiles. This year the event salutes MG. All ‘British’ cars are welcome to join the fun. With over 800 registered cars we are the largest ABFM in the United States. \nThe organizing Clubs welcome the public to take in this rare assembly of the West Coast’s finest British Steel. This highly popular all-marque show is on the beautiful campus of Saint Mary’s College on the north side of South Bend\, IN\, across the street from the University of Notre Dame. The campus is small – take one of the two entry roads off US 31 Business (933N) and follow the signs. \nThe Featured Marque is the Triumph TR-4\, 4A\, 250 & 6. Judging will be by popular vote\, with awards given for each class and Best in Show (upgraded awards!). \nThe entry fee is $25 per vehicle\, and for club members who have their Michiana Brits membership affiliated with their NAMGBR membership\, the fee is $10 per vehicle. Vehicles may arrive after 8:30 AM\, judging from 11 AM – 2 PM\, awards shortly thereafter. Goody bags and collector show pins for the first 100 vehicles. \nFood sales (credit cards accepted) rain or shine\, by Saint Mary’s College\, air-conditioned indoors area. Open to the general public 10 AM – 3 PM\, free admission & parking\, indoor restrooms. A caravan will take everyone to The Gin in Belton\, TX for lunch. The afternoon will be dedicated to shopping in Killeen or swapping MG adventures. The evening will start with a DJ and pizza in the parking lot and end with more time around the cars. \nThe TMGR car show will be Saturday morning. After a BBQ lunch there will be a Hare and Hound rally. The TMGR membership meeting will be in the late afternoon. The evening will start will a social hour followed by dinner\, awards and live and silent auctions. More gathering around the cars in the parking lot follows. \nOn Sunday\, everyone will depart for home.

DESCRIPTION:The Panhandle British Car Association is hosting our 28th “Brits on the Bay” British Car Show on April 17th – 18th\, 2019 in historic Pensacola Florida. \nThe “Participants Choice Award” and Class Awards are determined by the votes of registered show participants. The “Best of Show Award” is a Judged Award. Each vehicle entered will receive a ballot and dash plaque placed in the car at noon. Voting closes at 2:00 pm and awards are at 3:30pm. There are approximately 26 classes as determined by pre-registration numbers and each class will be awarded a 1st\, 2nd\, and 3rd place trophy as applicable. There also are several special awards and some surprise awards. This is not a “concours” show\, but a chance for British car lovers to get together\, display their cars and have a good time. Any car can go home with a trophy. So bring your British “ride” this year and enjoy the camaraderie. \n \nThe show is held at Seville Square on Saturday with Registration/Parking from 8:30 am until 11:30 am.
